I make a point to buy my books local and Copperfields is always willing to order something I want if they don't have it in stock. I also buy gifts for my grown kids and young granddaughter here. The staff is knowledgeable and the store is delightful.

Great bookstore with a children's section that can't be missed. The shelves are well stocked with current and popular books. If they don't have what you are looking for they will order it for you.

This book store has been here for decades, and for good reason. It's a small space but with so many essentials and good reads! Their prices are good and they always have an interesting selection at a discounted price towards the front. Their card selection is on point, too! Easily my #1 stop for birthdays, mother's and father's day cards. The location is great, right in the middle of downtown Sebastopol. There is parking in the back too. The staff are ALWAYS kind and helpful. Copperfield's atmosphere is warm and cozy, the perfect vibe when you're looking to explore books and see what catches your eye.

I want to support this local bookstore even with its high prices. But Copper fields seriously you make it difficult with decisions like closing your bathrooms indefinitely? Come on. When you finally go out of business don't wonder why. Sheesh.

I love local book shops and Copperfields is one of the best. the staff is terrific and they always have several suggestions on new books if you tell them what you like to read!
